I tried the Cookie short almond nail set using my refined application method, and I’m genuinely impressed. This was my first time wearing a short almond shape (I usually stick to extra short), but these felt surprisingly wearable—polished, flattering, and still practical for everyday life.
The color is a soft, milky nude that looks clean and elevated without being boring. It gives that “your nails but better” vibe and works perfectly for both work and everyday wear. With proper prep and a clear top coat, the finish looked smooth, glossy, and very salon-like.
Using my usual prep routine made a noticeable difference in wear. I did have to redo three nails after a week of wear, but it's because I work a job that's very hands-on and I have to wash my hands constantly so a couple of the nails started lifting around the cuticle area. Overall the nails felt secure, held up beautifully through daily tasks, and still allowed for easier removal later—proof that application really matters if you want both longevity and flexibility.
This set is a little bittersweet for me since my workplace is updating its policy around artificial nails. I’ll be switching to short, natural nails with hard gel and a neutral or clear finish for a while 🥲
If this is my last press-on set for now, Cookie was the perfect one to end on—simple, work-appropriate, and effortlessly chic.
